People always ask about the difference between right-click and left-click. The primary difference is that the right-click always brings up a menu called the context menu.

The items on the context menu change depending on where on the screen you click the mouse.

The video explains the importance of the Properties option on the context menu.

If you log on to history and see for example,a hotel web site and click properties, will that tell you acurately the amount of times that site was visited? also if my computer was previosly owned by a different person/account would that also effect the outcome? What determins the amount of times?

Submitted by Smart Computer User on April 26, 2008 - 3:57pm.

when I pull down my history on my address bar and I right click on one of the previosly viewed addresses;when I choose properties it tells me how many times I viewed that web site,is that only the times that I personally (or someone in my family) have viewed this website or if not all the info. was erased from the previous owner of the computer could his visits to this web site be accounted for as well?

Ahh...in Internet Explorer

Submitted by Rick on April 26, 2008 - 7:27pm.

You are pulling up your web history in IE, then RIGHT clicking and choosing properties. I've never done that until just now and saw what you saw regarding the number of visits. Yes, that number is how many times visited on your computer only...not Internet wide.

I'm glad we got to the bottom of that question.
