Our last event of Day 2

Submitted by Rick on January 7, 2008 - 2:14am.
  • CES 2008

Tonight we attended a great reception with ASUS at the Wynn where we had a great time visiting with ASUS officials and showing off the Eee PC with other attendees and Wynn staff. Tomorrow, we will visit their booth and attend a press event they are co-hosting with other companies to talk about Wi-Max Internet. Wi-Max is something we have talked about for years, but haven't seen any results yet. Wi-max is a high speed wireless Internet protocol that is supposed to offer cheaper wireless to a much larger area.

Our last event was called Digital Experience at Caesars Palace. Digital experience draws the biggest names in consumer electronics who exhibit some of their items in a small ballroom. We talked with reps from Canon, Belkin, Olympus, Lexmark, Palm, TomTom, SanDisk, Lenovo, HP, and many more. We will create a Picasa Online album of all the pictures Andy is taking for us so you can see high resolution photos of the technologies we are seeing.

Stay tuned for more CES fun and reports tomorrow.
