So? What is a podcast? I still don't know. But, then, perhaps I have not scoured your delightful new website enough to find where you put the information. It only took me a week to find the old Links & Resources button on the new webpage and you never moved it.

Since your show last week disappointed you in the number of calls coming in, perhaps you could spend some time this week talking about podcasts, how to download, how to select the hardgoods for storing them for later use, etc. Thanks!

Favorite podcatcher: Juice Receiver 2.2 from sourceforge.net

To Rick & Adam:
Take a look at Replay AV from Applian Technologies.

Go to:
http://www.applian.com

You will not be disappointed with any of their products. Replay AV will record multiple streams silently in the backgroun (stream capture), simple interface, splits the track every hour for example via its splitting tab. The blind pc user uses Replay AV. You can record at 7 mb .mp3 format. The podcasts doesn't have to be high quality.

I then transfer the podcasts I subscribe to within Jucie Receiver software to a compact flash card using a card reader thats connected to my pc. I then remove the CF card from the card reader and insert into my Book Port. The Book Port is a mp3 player for the blind.

Book Port site:

http://www.aph.org

The Book Port allows one to order books at Audible.com:

http://www.audible.com

I use a screen reader called JAWS and is made by Freedom Scientific:
