Internet is top. But so to is data storage. which was not listed in the poll. these two are top and equal in my computer use, and go hand in hand together.

My computer is a virtual library. Room in my library is very important. I like the idea of a machine with all the basics, i'd pay extra for the power and disk space or extra drives, so my machine will have room to expand without slowing me down.

mirroring sites, and storing images too is at the top of my list. the key is to get a machine that is adequate for my personal needs.

just doing basics and email is not enough for me. too basic a machine and its overwhelmed in a short time period.

I was just too impatient to wait for my vote to show. How am I the only big music guy?

It would help if there was a choice for all of the above. All are equally important to me.

Computer Usage

I write a lot and sell some stories, so I use the word processor heavily; however, I learn what the publishers want, their guidelines and such through the Internet, then email my submissions. Guess the Internet is more important...or not. May I chose two functions? Sue

computer functions

It was kind of a difficult decision among the choices of email, internet and digital. I am spending more and more time in the digital stuff, but overall, Internet searches are just so handy and informative. I use them at home and at work all the time!
