It's so hard to eBay a friend

I put my Canon 10D up for bid on eBay on Saturday night. Some guys grow close to their cars or their tools. I grow attached to my cameras. My 10D took pictures at my youngest son's birth, my sister's wedding and at about 20 other weddings.

I took family pictures of my family and several other families over the years. That camera was my first digital SLR.

As I was putting it up for bid on eBay, I washed the lens with tear drops. Actually, I only symbolically washed the lens with tear drops because I think that salty tears might not be good for the coating on the glass.

I hope that whoever gets my digital camera takes good care of it. Maybe it will be someone else's first digital SLR and it will teach them as much about digital photography as it taught me.
