The Grand Valley Digital Photography Users Group is for all people
interested in digital photography. Each month we meet to discuss topics and
see live demonstrations related to digital photography. The class is headed
up by Adam Cochran owner of PCs & Pixels and is a Special Interest Group of
the Grand Valley Computer Users Group.

Cost for this class will be $10/person or $15/couple

Great Digital Photo Gifts:

Screen Savers:

Many of today's image editing programs allow you to make screen savers from your own photos.

These programs include Adobe Photoshop ALBUM, and Paint Shop Album.

There are many smaller programs out there that also work. One that I use is called Xatshow. One that many professionals use is called Smoothshow.

Calendars:

You can make your own calendars with programs like Print Shop. If you have a number of calendars to make, you will find that most print shops and photo processing labs can make calendars for around $15 each. Many of these establishments can also make post card/Christmas card style calendars.

Greeting Cards:

This is another job for Print Shop. Use your own pictures on the front or as the surprise inside the card.

T-Shirts:

You can make your own T-shirts, but remember to print out the photo as a "mirror" image - that means everything should be backward. This requires software with this capability. Photoshop Elements and Print Shop can each do this.

Many photo labs will also print out T-Shirts and other articles of clothing.

Other Great Gifts:

Shop around our shopping site for other great DP gifts.
