We recently talked with Migo Software's Jay Elliott about Migo Software's innovative MIGO Portable Software designed for USB flash drives. This type of software makes leaving a computer behind when traveling or commuting much easier.

Rick and I are big fans of the Daily Show, a fake news show on Comedy Central that is packed full of sarcasm, parody and more honest satire than you will find in all of Art Buchwald's books combined.

Last week we discussed the humorous yet accurate look that the Daily Show took at Senator Stevens explaination of how the Internet works. The good senator has been the target of so many jokes on the web since the show's airing that he is requesting an opportunity to appear on the Daily Show to defend himself. We have attached a short clip that demonstrates why the Daily Show would poke fun at the senators understanding of the Web.

Last Saturday we had Verbatim representative Andy Marken back on the show. He did a great job discussing the various types of flash media and some of the great products that Verbatim has on the shelf and on the way.

We Interviewed Sandisk representative, Eric Bone on our last show. He discussed the new Sansa e200 line of media players. He emphasised the new e280 that features 8 gigabytes of storage for music, movies, and photos.

This week on the show we Interviewed Mike McCoy of ADS Technology . ADS is another great company that produces a wide range of useful gadgets that hook up to your computer. Many of their products are associated with multimedia such as devices that let you hook your record player or cassette deck to your computer to copy music. They also produce cards so that you can watch and record HDTV on your computer.

Last week we Interviewed Emir Aboulhosn with LapLink's PCMover software.

It was a great interview but Rick and I are still skeptical as to whether it should be used by users who get flustered by even small glitches on their computer.

Barb is this week's call of the week. Her call was centered around some mysterious lockup problems but it covered oh so much more. From problems with Norton, to taking advice from friends to 3D chat, Barb covered it all and our listeners loved it. Thanks Barb for the great call.

We answered so many emails tonight that we didn't even do our Tip of the Week that Adam worked so hard on earlier this week (see below). Email topics ranged from our newsletter delivery, to laptop recommendations, and lots of other great topics...listen to the podcast!!

Tonight's show was a little slower than some of the recent ones, but we had a great group of regulars and answered questions about laptop recommendations, Macintosh computes, spyware, Dell computers, tax preparation programs, the Fair Tax, Huckabee, Gravel, Ron Paul and much more.

Sorry about the first podcast...for some reason it imported crazy and we sounded like Alvin and The Chipmunks. This version should sound much better.

The Christmas season is upon us and the show crowds have been lighter lately, but we still had fun with the show. We will do one more live show next week, and then take two weeks off for the holidays and probably have multiple broadcasts from Las Vegas at the CES show in Vegas the first week in January.

Tonight we talked about Thunderbird email, answered some Ubuntu questions and showed off the new Eee PC from Asus. Have a listen and join us for next week's show!

We had a great turnout this week for our last show of the year. Thanks for all who attended. Lots of email questions about email, MSN, and address books. We featured out two tips of the week and Adam and I did our annual gift exchange on the camera this year! It was a lot of fun, have a great Christmas and New Years, and watch for out next live show on January 10.

Tonight we had a special Post CES show and talked mostly about CES coverage. A nice young man joined us and some good questions for us. Plus Adam's brother, Andy, also joined us and shared some of his consumer electronic expertise.

After a week off, we came back tonight with a strong show and a huge crowd in the chat room. We dedicated this week's show to NOA-Mike...a regular visitor in the show chat room. Mike works for Nintendo of America (NOA) and was able to get Adam and I a Nintendo Wii game console. An amazing gesture that we won't soon forget.

Unfortunately, this week we had some technical difficulty with our video chat site, and we had some very immature spammers. Sooo...we cut off the live feed and just did a pure email podcast. Give it a listen for some great tech information!

This week's show was pretty bad. We are ashamed to even post it. However we did answer a lot of email questions, did a Tip of the Week and discussed some news.
